I played sports my whole life ⚽, so I was always drawn to how the body works. Medicine felt like a natural fit. I ran sports camps and classes growing up, coached, mentored kids of all ages — I just loved it. I was interested in pediatric oncology for a while, but general pediatrics turned out to be the right place for me. We're family in our office, and we treat our patients the same way. I'm close with my colleagues inside and outside of work. What we recommend for our patients is the same thing we'd recommend for our own kids. We want families to feel informed, not talked at — we lay out the science and the guidelines so they can make the best choice for themselves. Outside of work I'm an avid sports fan — San Antonio Spurs, New York Mets, New York Giants. I play soccer and basketball, cook (and eat even more), travel, and go to as many concerts and musicals as I can. Most of my time goes to my family and friends.
