Text Message (SMS) Terms

Program

Watchung Pediatrics Text Messages, provided by Hometown Pediatrics MSO LLC, which operates Watchung Pediatrics and Hometown Pediatrics.

What we send

Appointment reminders, practice updates such as hours changes and closures, and, for our own clinical staff, after-hours on-call pages. We do not send marketing texts.

How you opt in

You consent at our front desk when staff ask whether you agree to receive automated calls and texts, or during self check-in when you choose to receive text alerts. Our on-call clinical staff are enrolled by the practice when they cover the after-hours line.

Message frequency

Varies. Appointment reminders are sent per appointment; practice updates are occasional. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed. You can also tell our office staff.

Not for emergencies

Texts are not monitored for urgent medical questions. If your child needs care right away, call our office; in an emergency call 911.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
