What motivates you?

The relationships you build with patients and their families are unparalleled in pediatrics. It's the highest privilege to be trusted with the care of another person's greatest treasure, especially when that trust lasts from birth to young adulthood. Pediatrics is also the only field of medicine where you can be unapologetically silly — wear a goofy costume, lean on your inner child, and make a patient smile on their worst day. I chose pediatrics because it lets me be surrounded by laughter and smiles every day. I joined Watchung Pediatrics because it's a family that cares relentlessly for its patients. Kids feel at home here because the office is built around them, and the staff radiates kindness. The doctors practice evidence-based medicine grounded in the American Academy of Pediatrics — it's the kind of practice you want to brag to your friends and family about, and I'm honored to be part of it. Outside of work, I live in West Orange with my wife and our two kids. I play tennis, sing, hike, juggle, and never turn down a good jigsaw puzzle or a diner grilled cheese. I collect bow ties and decorative baseballs, I'm always up for a silly costume, and I watch more Gordon Ramsay than I'd care to admit.
