Watchung Pediatrics is operated by Hometown Pediatrics MSO LLC, which also operates Hometown Pediatrics. This policy covers this website and our text-messaging program. The privacy of your medical information is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which is available at any of our offices on request.

Information we receive through this website

You can use this website without creating an account. When you visit, our hosting provider receives the technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, and keeps it in routine server logs. If you submit a form on this site, we receive what you enter so we can respond.

Information we use for text messages

If you consent to receive text messages from us, we keep the mobile number you give us, a record of your consent (how and when it was given), the messages we send you, and any replies you send. We use this information only to run the messaging program described in our SMS Terms: appointment reminders, practice updates, and on-call paging for our own clinical staff.

No sharing for marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers

We use messaging and hosting vendors that process information on our behalf to deliver our texts and run this website. They may use it only to provide those services to us.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by telling our office staff. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your care.

Children

This website is intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
