Mental health support in your pediatrician's office
Established in 2019, Watchung Pediatrics was one of the first pediatric practices in New Jersey to integrate behavioral health directly into the pediatrician's office. Our collaborative model pairs primary care providers with licensed social workers for short-term therapy, assessments, and referrals.

- ADHD assessment & support — with ongoing coordination with schools and families
- School refusal intervention — with strategies to help children return to the classroom
- Social skills development — through short-term therapy and guided practice
- Behavioral concerns evaluation — for challenges like aggression, defiance, and emotional regulation
- Developmental concerns — including autism screening and early intervention referrals
- Counseling & referrals — to specialized providers when longer-term care is needed
