Updated detour for the Stirling Rd bridge closure

Updated September 10: Do not use Stiles Road.

Stirling Road is closed from the Watchung Circle to the bridge, except for local traffic. From the Circle, take Hillcrest Road, then follow High Oaks, Deer Path, and Old Smalleytown Road to Stirling Road. Full directions are below.

Please allow an extra 15 minutes for your appointment.

The bridge on Stirling Rd, just before our Warren office, is closed for replacement. The road is completely closed to traffic from Monday, August 3, 2026 through the end of December 2026.

There's no way through — not one lane, not off-peak. If you approach from the bridge side, you'll have to turn around.

Our office at 76 Stirling Road, Suite 201 remains fully open the entire time, with no change to our hours or scheduling. But you'll need to come a different way.

Your GPS may steer you wrong

Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze are still catching up to the closure. Some apps may keep routing you over the bridge; others avoid more of Stirling Rd than they need to and send you the long way around. Follow posted detour signs and the written directions below, and don't simply follow your app turn-by-turn.

Alternate routes to our Warren office

Both routes end at our parking lot at 76 Stirling Road.

From the Watchung Circle or I-78 (Exit 40)

Coming from I-78 east or west? Take Exit 40 and follow Hillcrest Road toward the Watchung Circle, then begin with step 1 below.

  1. At the Watchung Circle, take the Hillcrest Road exit
  2. Follow Hillcrest Road, then turn left onto High Oaks (shown as High Oaks Dr on the map)
  3. Turn right onto Deer Path
  4. At the stop sign, turn left onto Old Smalleytown Road
  5. At the traffic light, turn left onto Stirling Road
  6. Turn left into our parking lot at 76 Stirling Road — our offices are on the left side

From downtown Warren or points southwest

  1. From Warrenville Rd, cross over Mountain Blvd
  2. After 0.8 miles, take a slight right onto Dubois Rd
  3. After 0.5 miles, at the stop sign, turn right onto Reinman Rd
  4. After 1.4 miles, at the traffic light, make a right onto Stirling Rd
  5. After 0.1 miles, make a left into our parking lot
